Delete your Laps account
You can permanently delete your Laps account and its data at any time. This page explains how to do it and exactly what gets removed. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Laps app:
- Open Laps and go to the Account tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and synced data are removed from our servers immediately, and you are signed out on the device.
Delete by email
If you can no longer sign in — for example you deleted the app — email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you:
Include the email address (or Apple/Google sign-in) associated with your account so we can verify and locate it. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes the data we hold about you, including:
- Your account and sign-in identifiers (email, Apple, Google).
- Your profile, username, and app settings.
- Your recorded sessions, lap times, and telemetry that were synced to our servers.
- Your garage — vehicles and setup history.
- Your follows and other social connections.
- Your subscription/entitlement records in our systems.
We also revoke your Sign in with Apple connection (where applicable) and remove your subscriber record from our billing provider, RevenueCat.
What this does not do
- Store subscriptions. If you subscribed to Laps Pro through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in your store account settings — deleting your Laps account does not cancel store billing. Subscriptions purchased on the web through Stripe are cancelled as part of deletion.
- On-device recordings. Sessions kept only on your device are under your control; uninstalling the app or deleting them on the device removes those.
